CONTROL: The Business of Music Management is a dynamic new five stage program designed to equip music managers with crucial business skills. The program provides music managers with practical guidance on developing and maintaining sustainable businesses.

CONTROL features respected local and international music managers and business specialists. Mentors in the program will include leading UK based music manager Keith Harris (Stevie Wonder) and Australian based managers Michael McMartin (Hoodoo Gurus) and Keith Welsh (Boom Crash Opera, rooArt, Rough Cut, The Music Network).

And now AMIN is proud to present a series of exclusive online podcasts recorded over the recent residential workshop held in regional NSW. This month you can hear from pscychologist Dr Chris Stevens and finance guru Victor Gugger.

Dr Chris StevensDr Chris Stevens is Principal Psychologist with Creative Mastery International (CMI) – a psychological consultancy specialising in maximising individual and organisational innovation and creative performance. Creative Mastery International (CMI) is a trading arm of CommuniCorp Pty Ltd, a firm providing specialised psychological services to a wide range of industries in Australia and internationally.

A recognised expert in the area of creativity and innovation, he is a sought-after speaker and consultant internationally, particularly in relation to successfully adapting to rapid technological, market and social change.

He has published articles on personal adjustment, creativity, insight and constructive outlooks. He is currently teaching a postgraduate course on Managing Creativity and Innovation for the Australian Film, Television and Radio School’s Centre for Screen Business.

Victor Gugger Victor Gugger has worked in the investment and money markets for over 20 years in Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong , London and Singapore. His involvement in music has been as an artist, producer and investor of talent over the last 20 years.

He has invested in many start-up business’s over that period of time, some successful, some not. These start-ups have been in a diversified field of activities and have involved many various forms of financing.

He can speak just as easily with creatives as with hard nosed number crunching accountants and has had a number of experiences trying to mesh the two together, with the ability to deliver a business plan that makes sense to both sides of the spectrum.
