LOVE LIVE MUSIC 60 FILM COMPETITION

aminbluelogo2017

Building on the outstanding success of last year’s competition, the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN) is thrilled to announce the return of the LOVE LIVE MUSIC 60 second film competition. Which is part of a national initiative to focus on the importance of Australian contemporary live music. Entries will be close 31 March  2017 12:00pm AEST

The LOVE LIVE MUSIC 60 second film competition calls for filmmakers across Australia to collaborate with local hometown musicians to make a 60-second film in any genre and any style that addresses at least one of the following themes:

‘Imagine life without live Australian music’;

‘What I love about live Australian music’; or

‘What live Australian music means to me’.

AMIN was thrilled with the quality of entries for the inaugural competition last year and how passionately and creatively producers and artists articulated their love of live music and what it means to them. They went viral and will hopefully inspire other producers to enter this year’s competition’’ – Patrick Donovan AMIN Chair

The competition is presented in partnership with the Live Music Office and the internationally accredited St Kilda Film Festival, presented by City of Port Phillip, who will screen the top 10 finalists at Australia’s premiere music video competition, SoundKILDA.  The overall winner and runner-up will be announced and awarded with cash and in-kind prizes on the night.
