Information on the available grants and Covid-19 response funding:

 

ARTS ACT
HOMEFRONT
: funding of up to $10,000 per artist will be available for Canberra artists to support arts development and the sustainability of their arts practices over the next 6-9 months. This is across all artforms including screen artists.

ARTS QUEENSLAND

Individual’s fund:  The Individuals Fund is for individual artists and cultural workers (emerging and established) to participate in transformational professional and career development opportunities.

ARTS TASMANIA

Arts and Screen Digital Production Fund: supports Tasmanian artists and arts organisations to work with Tasmanian screen professionals to make content for digital distribution and promotion. It is designed to support artists and arts organisations whose work has been cancelled, postponed or disrupted by COVID-19 to work with screen partners.

Arts Organisations Funding: This program supports organisations to deliver a range of high-quality arts activities that strengthen Tasmania’s arts sector, engage and inspire audiences and the wider community, and benefit Tasmania’s professional artists and arts workers.

Tasmanian Contemporary Music Fund: supports Tasmanian musicians whose engagements have been cancelled due to COVID-19. The fund supports musicians to record music and create music videos for digital distribution and promotion.

The Northern Tasmania Arts Organisations Initiative: This program supports arts organisations based in Northern Tasmania to deliver high-quality arts activities that strengthen Northern Tasmania’s arts sector, engage and inspire audiences and the wider community, and benefit Northern Tasmania’s professional artists and arts workers.

Youth Arts Organisations: This program supports projects that actively engage young people (aged 0 to 25 years and under) to develop their creative skills and capacities, and enhance their social health and wellbeing.

AUSTRALIA COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS

2020 RESILIENCE FUND: The 2020 Resilience Fund is designed to provide emergency relief to support the livelihoods, practice and operations of Australian artists, groups and organisations during the COVID-19 pandemic. there are 3 rounds: Survive, Adapt & Create.

BUSINESS VICTORIA

Business support fund: $10k grant support for small businesses that employ staff and are subject to closure or highly impacted by the shutdown restrictions announced by the Victorian Government as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

CITY OF MELBOURNE

Assistance for creatives: $2 million in grants to artists and creatives to invest in new works, and digital presentation of works and performances.

CITY OF SYDNEY

The Creative Fellowships Fund: valued at $1 million. This fund will support artists to engage in creative development of works and initiatives driven by the cultural sector, and to purchase materials and equipment.

The Cultural Sector Resilience Grant Program: valued at $2.25 million. This program will provide immediate financial support to the not-for-profit and sole traders working in the cultural sector who are often reliant on individual grant rounds and project-based funds to maintain their minimal staff and to pay their artists.

GOVERNMENT OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Expressions of Interest for Arts Organisations Collaboration Grants: Arts Organisations’ Collaboration Grants of up to $100,000 for major arts and cultural organisations and the small-to-medium sector and independent artists to achieve employment outcomes, explore new ways of working together, create and develop work and engage with audiences. Five grants will be approved.
