MEET THE WAMILY
WHO WE ARE
Passionately committed to championing Western Australia’s thriving music industry since 1987, WAM (West Australian Music) is the peak music body responsible for supporting, nurturing and growing all forms of contemporary music in WA.
We’re there for the amateurs, the professionals and everyone in-between, fusing meaningful connections, providing suitable opportunities, promoting worthy causes, playing active roles in advocacy and policy development, and embracing all who wish to play, listen and partake in local original music.
Comprised of staff that have been involved in all levels of the music industry, we’re committed to fostering and enhancing individual connections for the collective gain of the industry and those within it, with ongoing advice and support to improve the economic viability, vibrancy and cultural creativity of the WA music industry.
